The stake foundation 400 PHC was destroyed on the 5 story building due to the leaking of the reinforced soil that could not withstand the water pressure of the internal retaining wall leakage water. The reinforcement was originally done by using 216 steel stake. A factor to consider when reinforcing the existing building is whether or not the stake can withstand the loaded weight and that all stakes have been scientifically proven for its effectiveness.
