This is a famous 8 story tilted building that was broadcasted in KBS, MBC, SBS< and YTN station. The lack of number of the stake lead to tilting of the building. However, this building had a punching accident, not a settlement accident. The media spread the wrong news. It is still a problem today that many professionals still believe that this was a settlement issue. The floor concrete would usually settle with the building, but this did not happen on this building. Rather, the pillar penetrated through the concrete and was destroyed. This was an issue of the settling ground, and since punching has to do with the steel concrete structure, the two issues are fundamentally different. After 2 months, similar accident happen in the 8 story building in Gwangju. We used JP and BT technology to reinforce and restored the building from grade E to grade A.
