Gunjung Suro Bridge

P1~P7's pier were under the same condition but the damage was focused on P4 pier. The expansion length of the water ways caused by the changing temperatures mostly affected the P4 pier. Without the water way support being changed, the damage extends to P3 and P5. This is the reason why 30% of the aqueducts built with concretes that have 100 years of life expectancy breaks and falls a part within years of construction. The aqueduct was jacked up with a stake and the metal panel was removed due to its corrosion. Instead, we used a highly elastic rubber support that does not corrode to reinforce the aqueduct. The aqueduct is till stable to this day.
