This is the case of reinforcement of an elementary school that had perpendicular crack.. The crack was due t the horizontal hoop separating, and when this happens, the pillars can be destroyed. Unlike the original method it was used to build this space, we did not chip any of the underlying concrete. The perpendicular steel was installed and fixed with the wire rope bolt nut (BT non adhesive tension method). This method provides stronger stability even during a hard earthquake.
